Supports removed, then sanded at 120 grit before aligning the pieces with CA glue and welding the seams with a soldering iron and plastic welder — staples trimmed flush with a Dremel. Inside coated with XTC-3D, outside coated with Anycubic ABS-like resin, cleaned with isopropanol, 240-grit sanding, Motip filler primer, 3M glazing putty on the deeper scratches, another 240-grit pass, then wet-sanded up to 800 grit. Base coat in Hagmans primer, painted with Montana Gold G1170 Nato and misted with G7270 Basalt for the olive-grey weathering.
CRL calls for accurate panel shape and greebles, shoulder-strap buckles on the upper chest plate, and an olive-grey, moderately weathered finish.
